With only a few weeks remaining, everyone is already gearing up for Supergirl Season 5's arrival on The CW. And considering how things went down during the last season, it seems that Kara is just about to face her biggest challenges yet.
The fourth season of the Girl of Steel series has already depicted some of the most controversial and catastrophic events on Kara's life. But along with the crew, especially her best friend Lena, she was still able to overcome it all.
Even so, the finale still brought the fans into shock when Lex Luthor revealed Kara's real identity to Lena. And quite obviously, this will play an integral role in the upcoming season.
As any fan knows it, Lena has been very straight with her principles and notions about betrayal. Although she has a point, it is also understandable as to why Kara has kept her biggest secret to her best friend.
But then again, Lex Luthor happened. Not to mention, they brought down the government hailing him as the hero when he killed Red Daughter, Kara's clone.
According to Meaww, the shocking events that happened on Supergirl Season 4 finale will likely shape the following circumstances and challenges for the new season. In fact, many are theorizing that Lena might be the big bad of the new season. Nevertheless, it has been pointed out already that the Leviathans will be Kara's biggest challenge for the upcoming installment upon learning that they are everywhere.
While it is very plausible that she will take them down in the future, Kara's fate is still uncertain. As it happens, Den of Geek has reiterated that Kara died in the comic series during the Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover. And in considering that the crossover is just about to happen on television, many are also convinced that Kara will die in the middle of Supergirl Season 5.
Whatever the case though, Arrowverse has become very volatile when it comes to their series materials and offerings. Hence, there is a huge possibility that she will truly die during the chaotic crossover. But it is still worth noting that there is an abundance of creativity in the franchise. So, if ever she will die, it is also possible that it would be a product of a huge plot twist.
