Earlier this week, Netflix had shocked the world when the platform released a page referring to a Breaking Bad sequel film. But while the media and fandom have long speculated the film, this Netflix preview release has finally confirmed the speculations. El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie is sealed, and it's happening.

Six years ago, AMC's top-rated series, Breaking Bad, has concluded its plot. And for many years, critics and fans have regarding the series' finale as one of the greatest endings in television history.

Even so, many were left hanging as to what happened with Jesse Pinkman. As it happened, the final moments of Breaking Bad saw Jesse escaping in a stolen Chevrolet El Camino, speeding off to somewhere unknown.

With Jesse's final moments on the show, it is quite logical as to why the sequel film is titled, El Camino. And based on the synopsis revealed by Netflix, the movie will focus on Jesse Pinkman and the events that followed after his escape.

According to CNET, the released page from Netflix was an "accidental leak." And immediately after it caught the attention of the media, the page was taken down. Even so, it is no longer a secret that the film is about to arrive this fall. Hence, a few days after, Netflix officially released the trailer of El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie.

In the trailer, Charles Baker, who plays the role of Skinny Pete in Breaking Bad, is depicted in an interrogation room. And based on his statements, it looks like the authorities are coming after Jesse.

While the main premise of the film is already revealed, little has been shared about the totality of the movie. Even Aaron Paul refuses to answer a few minor questions about the upcoming movie.

In an interview with The New York Times, Aaron Paul, who plays the role of Jesse Pinkman, revealed that he was forbidden to say anything about the El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie. Not to mention, everyone on set kept the whole thing from the media and fans. This is why despite the apparent speculations concerning a sequel to the series, no one has confirmed the project until the Netflix incident.

Aaron Paul somehow managed to share a few background details about the sequel's development. And as per the actor, the Breaking Bad creator, Vince Gilligan, called him one night. And during the conversation, they've talked about a few plans about the popular series' upcoming tenth anniversary.

While he had his own "misgivings" before, all of these were "dispelled" after reading the script of the sequel movie. And from then on, the development of the production started.

El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie will arrive on October 11, on Netflix. As for its premiere on AMC, it is believed to happen after the film drops on the streaming platform.
