Buyers who prefer a naturally-aspirated vehicle with eight cylinders should rejoice. Ford company is reportedly producing a powerful 4.8-liter car to replace the 5.0-liter V8. To make it be comparable to the turbo V6 series, this upcoming model will also have 420 horsepower as well as 420-pound feet of torque.

According fo Ford Authority, the 5.0 liter Coyote V8 might no longer be included in the next generation of F-150 lineup. Fans of this model should not be sad, though, because the replacement is so much better. Moreover, the 5.0 liter V8 has been repeatedly upstaged by the 3.5-liter turbocharged mills in the latest generations of the model anyway.

With 420HP and 420 LB-FT of Torque, this incoming model is naturally more powerful than the Coyote, which is only packed with 395 horsepower and 400 pound-feet (542 Newton-meters) of torque.

The only issue is that this new model is only set to come in late 2020 or as far as 2021. The speculation that Ford F-150 would have a new 4.8L V8 has been made way back in 2016 though, so the idea that finally, it is somehow confirmed is certainly good news. AT the time, Ford is said to be tipped to make a $47 million investment in an engine plant in Windsor, Ontario. It was rumored that the money could be used to improve the existing V8 production lines while some part of it will also go for having extra assembly capacity that can create a new fuel-efficient motor. It was strongly believed that this would be new 4.8L V8.

This new model still does not have a name. Those who still want the Coyote 5.0 liter V8 however, should get one now. This is the perfect plan because discounts are being offered, reaching as high as $6, 500 this month. The offer is good until the early days of September, up to the third to be exact.

According to Motor 1, those who cannot wait for the new model, will find it nice to get the XLT without the 302A package. This is because, at present, those interested can get as high as $4,750 off for the pickup. All they have to do is be wise about it - mixing the $3,250 F-Series retail customer cash, the $750 retail bonus customer cash, as well as $750 bonus customer cash. This is a good deal.

If not, they can also get the Lariat, Platinum or the Limited grades. All of them are discounted too at this time. Buyers of King Ranch can even enjoy as high as $2,000 off.
