According fo Ford Authority, the 5.0 liter Coyote V8 might no longer be included in the next generation of F-150 lineup. AT the time, Ford is said to be tipped to make a $47 million investment in an engine plant in Windsor, Ontario. It was rumored that the money could be used to improve the existing V8 production lines while some part of it will also go for having extra assembly capacity that can create a new fuel-efficient motor. It was strongly believed that this would be new 4.8L V8.
This new model still does not have a name. Those who still want the Coyote 5.0 liter V8 however, should get one now.
