Unai Emery admits that various Arnesal players might up and leave the club even before the European transfer window deadline comes. He, however, said that the Mesut Ozil would certainly stay.

Ozil and Sead Kolasinac figured into an incident earlier this month - attacked by a gang with knives. While the former Germany international is yet to feature in the Premier League this season, Kolasinac already returned to the first-team squad in the plays against Burnley and Liverpool. Ozil is still absent, allegedly because he became sick ahead of the visit to Anfield.

As the transfer window in Europe nears, there are rumors that the 30-year-old World Cup winner can suddenly engage in an 11th hour move away.

Emery ruled these speculations out and said that Ozil will be back training with his Arsenal teammates soon enough. Ozil will also be in contention to play against Tottenham this coming weekend, Sunday possibly.

This week he's training well,' Emery said. 'He is progressing physically and training with normal work for us. He's going to be closer to us and will be available for Sunday, I think.

Emergy said that although they could not sign another player in before Monday, he is sure that some players will leave, including Nacho Monreal. He said that the whole club is working, and certain players already know their fate. However, he is adamant that there is no possibility that Ozil will leave.

It can be remembered that for a while, there are strong rumors that Ozil himself is not favored by Emery, especially since it has always been observed that he was often left on the bench. Also, his salary by itself is too much, some claimed. He makes a staggering £350,000-a-week, too high even for most of Europe's elite clubs, as reported by the Daily Star.

Daily Star also claimed that because the September deadline for transfers is too near, people can see Ozil leaving by January instead. While it seems Emery is sure that Ozil will not be let go, he certainly did not say this will be for an indefinite period of time.

On another news, the Evening Standard reported that Sociedad is pushing really hard to sign Nacho Monreal before Monday. Arsenal might feel a blow, but they would not suffer, given that Kieran Tierney and Seas Kolasinac can play in his position. It remains to be seen, however, whether this departure will or will not hurt the club.
