Blue Bloods Season 9 ended with a huge kick last May. But while most of the fans have enjoyed the finale, others, however, were a little disappointed. And this is due to the fact that Jamie and Eddie's wedding day was never highlighted as much as what the fans have expected.
This is why many fans are hoping that the new season would somehow feature the continuation of the wedding ceremony once it airs on CBS this fall. However, it seems that this won't be the case since the first few looks at the incoming episode have been already released.
Based on TV Insider's scoop, Blue Bloods Season 10 premiere shows Jamie and Eddie's apartment hunting after the marriage. Hence, this means that a few days or even weeks have already passed since the events of the previous season.
It has been also pointed out that the first episode of the new season is already the two-hundredth episode of the show since it first started almost ten years ago. And while the marriage ceremony could be the perfect way to celebrate the apparent milestone of Blue Bloods, the synopsis and sneak peek seem to show other things but that event.
As per Cheat Sheet, the first episode is a significant one. And it looks like the cast members of the police procedural drama series are all excited to celebrate and commemorate the day.
Donnie Whalberg, who plays the role of Danny, posted a "dinner scene" picture on his social media account. And the caption says that it's quite hard to believe that they've been doing this for ten seasons now.
With this photo and caption at hand, it seemingly appears that the dinner scene of the family will serve as the special token of the season for the apparent achievement. Also, it has been revealed that a new case will come across Danny and Baez's line-up.
Quite obviously, this wouldn't be Blue Bloods if there will be no new case for the Reagans. And with Maggie's efforts to put the year-old homicide on their radar, this might just be the new season's biggest case.
Aside from these ongoing challenges, Frank will also face a challenge of his own as he will try to help his ex-partner, Lenny's daughter. There is not much information given about this aspect but the fact that she's arrested, it means that it's something serious that could result in a lot of twists and turns.
Blue Bloods Season 10 will premiere on September 27, on CBS.
