September 10 is around the corner, and everyone is almost 101% sure that new iPhones will be launched. However, a new report claimed that the iPhone 11 and the Pro versions might not be the main attraction in this event.

According to Market Watch, even if the smartphone giant rolls out the new iPhones in the upcoming event, they will merely play a supporting role. Instead, Chief Executive Tim Cook will talk lengthily about how the company will price and bundle forthcoming subscription video and gaming services.

Even the CFRA analyst Angelo Zino said so. He claimed that the iPhone launch might be boring, but the whole event will still be a must-see TV event because of the announcement Apple will make of all of its services. Rumors have it that Apple is planning to charge $4.99 per month for its Arcade gaming service as well as $9.99 per month for its Apple TV+ video services.

"We think Apple could look to perhaps bundle its Apple TV+ offering (for instance, alongside Apple Music) at a discounted rate to spur new subscribers," Zino wrote.

Zino also thinks there will be nothing new with the iPhones anyway - same size, same price, and probably not so many changes to be that exciting with the phones' capacities per se. Refreshed versions just might have faster processors and triple-lens camera, that's it.

Not that he's looking down at the new iPhones. "The video capability on iPhone 11 Pro versions will be significantly stepped up with real-time re-cropping technology that appears to be quite impressive in our opinion," he wrote. "The shatter-resistant technology should improve the durability of the iPhone 11 and will be another selling feature for upgrades."

According to MacRumors, Apple might also talk about or introduce "Apple Tag" on this event, which can rival products such as Tile, which can enable Bluetooth tracking to locate items such as keys, wallets, cameras, and more. Now with a world saturated with smartphones already, this just might be as exciting.

Reportedly, Apple Tags will integrate into the Find My app and might still work even if offline. There's no word on when the Apple Tag will launch, but rumors also have it that it will be this fall already.

After September, another Apple event might be held in October for other products that were not included in the September event. Nothing has been confirmed about an October event this year, but it is still possible, wherein fans can hear about new Macs and iPads.
