Tomorrow marks Apple's September event, and in a few days, the company will finally announce the iPhone 11. As usual, the Cupertino tech giant hasn't said what it would be announcing at the event, but there are lots of rumors going around, giving us an idea about the company's plans.
That being said, we present you a roundup of the leaks and rumors that should make things clear, or at least prep you for Apple's big event.
It has been widely reported that Apple has three new iPhone models this year. The sequels to the iPhone XS and XS Max are expected to be called the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max. The more affordable iPhone XR, meanwhile, will have its sequel called simply the iPhone 11.
The design of the three new phones are rumored to look almost the same as the lineup last year, at least from the front. The iPhone 11 Pro will have a 5.8-inch OLED screen, while the 11 Pro Max will come with a 6.5-inch screen. As for the iPhone 11, it will have a 6.1-inch screen, but unlike its brothers, this one will come in LCD and not OLED.
Unlike Apple's competitors, including Samsung, the company has decided to keep the notch, with all three models sporting the same notch size.
A report from Bloomberg claims that the new iPhones will have a better Face ID feature, which will now be able to capture a wider field of view. While the front of the phone appears to have no changes, the back will surprise many.
The back of the iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max, and iPhone 11 will all have a big square camera bump integrated with sensors. There will be a wide-angle and telephoto lens, and the two higher-end models will get a new ultra wide-angle lens.
Now for the Apple Watch: fans are expecting that the new smartwatch from Apple will launch alongside the new iPhones. According to MacRumors, the company has successfully registered four new models with the Eurasian Economic Commission. While the new iPhones are a topic of much online news, the next Apple Watch, meanwhile, is hardly talked about, mostly due to the lack of leaks.
However, there have been predictions concerning the new Apple Watch's features, specifically, its health features.
Elsewhere, CNET reports that the next Apple Watch could come with a camera on its straps and there will also be a round watch face, which Apple has reportedly filed patent on.
Whether these features will make it to the Apple Watch Series 5 we don't know yet. Perhaps the company will drop some news on tomorrow's event.
