There's another royal wedding coming up as Princess Beatrice, Queen Elizabeth's granddaughter and the oldest child of Prince Andrew, the Duke of York, announced her engagement to her boyfriend Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, a property tycoon.

While the York family -- composed of Prince Andrew, Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie and their mom Sarah, the Duchess of York -- shared and reposted this wonderful news on social media, royal watchers noticed something peculiar. It seemed Prince William, Prince Harry, along with their wives Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle, have ignored their cousin's happy revelation.

As of press time, Prince Harry and Meghan's official Sussex Royal Instagram account has no post congratulating the happy couple, according to Daily Express. The same goes for Prince William and Kate's Kensington social media profiles, which haven't even re-shared Princess Beatrice's engagement announcement.

The lack of posts has royal fans speculating that Prince Harry and Prince William, including their wives, deliberately snubbed Princess Beatrice. Meanwhile, Clarence House, the official royal office of Prince Charles, the Prince of Wales, and Princess Beatrice's uncle, managed to congratulate the newly-engaged couple by at least reposting the message from Buckingham Palace's official account.

However, it's highly likely that the Sussex and Cambridge royals didn't plan on ignoring their cousin's engagement news. For one thing, Prince Harry and Meghan have been quite busy on their overseas tour to South Africa this week and that it's all they could focus on.

It's also worth noting that the social media accounts of the Sussexes and Cambridges are geared towards the causes and platform they support. The Yorks, on the other hand, have personal profiles; hence, their contents tend to be less formal.

So, if Prince Harry and Prince William were to send out a personal greeting to family members, however, they'd most likely do it for their immediate relatives such as Queen Elizabeth, Prince Philip, Prince Charles, Duchess of Cornwall Camilla, their wives and their children. Rarely do they post messages for extended family members unless it's for a cause they also support.

Besides, Mike Tindall, the husband of Zara, Queen Elizabeth's oldest granddaughter, revealed in an interview that the royal cousins have a group chat on WhatsApp. They set up get-togethers and chat about family stuff, like any regular family. It's highly likely that Prince Harry and Prince William have privately sent Princess Beatrice their message of congratulations on this platform than in a public forum.

Princess Beatrice and her fiancé are set to walk down the aisle in 2020.
