Prince William and Kate Middleton are getting a lot of praises from folks on social media following an old photo that re-emerged, which was taken during their wedding in 2011.
The photo was shared on Instagram and it showed the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge acknowledging a troop of British soldiers. Prince William saluted the men while Duchess Kate bowed her head as a sign of respect.
"They have always been respected and represented the monarchy so well!" a follower said. The fans of the royal couple also praised Britain's future monarchs as a dignified pair.
A video of Prince William during their wedding day also resurfaced online, which showed the Duke of Cambridge looking quite sleepy and tired during the wedding ceremony. One quick look from his beautiful bride and Prince William's tired-looking eyes perked up. When Duchess Kate smiled at him, Prince William smiled back as if to acknowledged that they both understood each other.
Netizens pondered why Prince William looked like he was ready to pass out at his own wedding. Apparently, the future King of England had about a half-hour of sleep the night before as they a crowd was gathered outside of Clarence House, Buckingham Palace and Green Park, which prevented him from getting a decent shut-eye.
"The crowds were singing and cheering all night long, so the excitement of that, the nervousness of me and everyone singing," Prince William reportedly said.
Eight years and three kids later, Prince William and Duchess Kate have shown the world that they are a solid pair and that they are ready to take on more responsibilities and duties as royals. In October, the Cambridges will be flying to Pakistan for an official visit, which the British royal family hasn't done for quite some time.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have a full four-day schedule in the Middle East. The trip was upon the request made by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, according to Hello!
Prior to leaving for Pakistan, Prince William and Duchess Kate are expected at the Aga Khan Centre in London to meet with the grandson of Aga Khan III, All-India Muslim League's first president who was born in Pakistan.
This trip will also be the first of the couple abroad together since January 2018, when Prince William and Duchess Kate visited Norway and Sweden. At that time, she was pregnant with their third child.
