One of ABC's compelling drama series, A Million Little Things, just premiered its second season. While it's been days already, fans are still left in shock after what happened.
The episode picked up where it last left off, which is with Eddie's revelation about his daughter to Delilah.
Ever since Katherine learned about the affair back in the pilot season, Eddie has been after nothing but fixing the relationship. Although it caused heartache and pain to everyone involved, Katherine has been nothing but patient and understanding.
Just when she is about to accept him back and rebuild their family with Theo, Eddie dropped the big reveal that he is the father of Delilah's baby.
Quite obviously, it did not end well. Katherine left home without Theo. And instead, she asked him to call Eddie back so he would stay with him while she's gone.
It has been revealed later on that she's currently staying in her mother's house as she does not want Theo to see her in her weakest point. Eddie tried to talk to her but she's not in a good shape after learning the hard truth.
According to Cinema Blend, fans are convinced that this will be the end of the Eddie-Katherine relationship. Despite all the things that they've gone through together, plus Theo, the pain is too real and overwhelming for Katherine.
It is also worth noting that Eddie wants to be a father to her daughter. So, it is challenging to imagine the whole picture if they decided to get back together.
Some fans would not love the idea of reconciliation between the two characters. However, A Million Little Things creator DJ Nash hinted that Eddie and Katherine might still get back together.
In a scoop made by Hollywood Life, DJ Nash dropped hints and clues about the new dynamic of the season, especially on Eddie and Katherine's relationship. Based on his statements, Katherine will need time to heal and accept things.
It may take a while though as this kind of situation is not an easy thing, even for anyone. He also explained that A Million Little Things Season 2 will see Katherine's breaking point. At the same time, fans will also witness Eddie's suffering. This might just change the fans' perceptions toward him that could change the overall dynamic of the relationship.
The hints are subtle. Nevertheless, it still gives hope that Katherine and Eddie might still end up together, after all.
