Boxing's greatest fighters were the firsts to send well wishes and positive messages to Errol Spence Jr following a serious car crash the welterweight champion had been involved in.
The undefeated boxer is believed to be in a "serious condition" after his Ferrari flipped multiple times that ejected him out of the vehicle. Spence was reportedly not wearing a seatbelt. Local authorities told media that the 29-year-old was taken to a hospital and assured he was going to survive the accident.
Spence's representatives issued an update confirming that the boxer's parents have been informed of the incident and were present when he was taken to a Dallas hospital. It is understood that the injuries sustained by the victim of the vehicular accident are not life-threatening.
When news of Spence's accident emerged, the boxer's welterweight rivals took to Twitter to express their sympathy and wished for his fast recovery.
Kell Brook, who Spence KO'd in 2017, wrote that he wishes for the fighter to get well soon:

Terence Crawford, a potential match up for Spence in a welterweight fight next year, added his prayers.

Shawn Porter, Spence's most recent opponent, also dedicated a tweet for the injured boxer:
My dad always tells me “this boxing thing is a part of your life but it’s not going to last forever. Tim Smith, spokesperson for Premier Boxing Champions, told ESPN that Spence will make a recovery and that the doctors are monitoring his condition.
"We're all wishing the best for Errol," Smith said.
According to CBS 11, Spence is expected to recover but he could be facing a DWI charge.
Spence recently defeated Porter to win the WBC and International Boxing Federation welterweight titles on Sept. 28. The 29-year-old is 26-0 in his career.
President of the World Boxing Council Mauricio Sulaiman also extended his message for the fighter via Twitter. In a post, he wrote: "The boxing community of the world unite in prayers for the recovery of WBC & IBF welterweight champion Errol Spence who had a terrible car accident this morning in Dallas."
