We are only halfway through the month of October but it appears that the Redmond-based tech giant is once again releasing another batch of Microsoft Windows 10 Cumulative Updates. The third batch contains the necessary fixes to the Start Menu. It also addresses the issue of high CPU usage among others. These updates are available for Windows 10 October 2018 update, Anniversary Update, Fall Creators Update, and April 2018 Update.
Highlights of KB4520062 (OS Build 17763.832) includes the following:
Prevents blank tiles from appearing in the Start menu when you upgrade to Windows 10, version 1809 from any previous version of Windows 10. However, if you have already upgraded to Windows 10, version 1809, installing this update will not remove existing blank tiles.
Updates an issue that causes the power consumption for a device in Connected Standby mode to be high.
Updates an issue that might display a black screen at startup during the first sign in after installing an update.

Microsoft has not yet released any update for Windows 10 running on May 2019 Update version 1903. Highlights of the Windows 10 cumulative updates for version 1803 includes rolling updates on the issue that causes a black screen to display during startup and on the first sign in just tight after installing the update. It also fixes an issue with Bluetooth when utilizing a particular audio profile for longer periods.

Before installing this latest update, Microsoft suggests that you must install first the most recent servicing stack update for your operating system before installing the latest cumulative update.
