The user shared some images which seem to suggest that the new version is now available in-store. The current Nintendo Switch Pro Controller is 104889D, but this variant has been bumped up to an E now.
YouTuber Spawn Mike, popular for tearing down techs and unearthing what's inside spent time tracking down the new Nintendo Switch Pro Controller to see any changes. The YouTuber compared it to the Xenoblade Edition Pro Controller and noted that there is no big difference only in the D-pad's center spike, which has been notably altered slightly. Additionally, the YouTuber noted that the D-pad feels a little more clicky.
Spawn Mike admitted that this characteristic of the new Nintendo Switch Pro Controller could be due to the fact that it is new compared to the heavily utilized gaming controller he is making comparison with. For those who want to get a hold of the latest Nintendo Switch Pro Controller, look for the 104889E version. However, many gamers claim that it is not worth the upgrade.

Meanwhile, a recent leak about the rumored Nintendo Switch 2 claims that it does not have one of the most important Switch features that gamers love. On 4Chan, user Xhyll shared that his source, who used to work for Nintendo, revealed that the Nintendo Switch 2 will be exclusively designed for home gaming. In other words, it will not have the portability feature that many gamers love about the hybrid console.
But, the tipster claimed that the new Nintendo Switch 2 will have 4K support, improved graphics, and enhanced computing ability. The peripherals of the upcoming version of Nintendo's hybrid console, according to the 4Chan user, will be almost the same as that of the classic Nintendo Switch version. This means that users who will purchase the new Switch will be able to utilize the pro controllers or Joy-cons to enjoy their favorite video games at a higher resolution and frame rates.
