"Grand Theft Auto 5" has been in the market for six years, and fans, while still enjoying the game because of its continuous updates, are also looking out for any signs of "GTA 6." These past days, the rumor mill has been busy spewing details related to the sixth iteration to the popular "Grand Theft Auto" franchise. The freshest comes from a fan who believes that the latest updates on "GTA Online" are teasers for the much-awaited title.

There are many factors that fans are now considering when it comes to the arrival of "GTA 6." The release of "Red Dead Redemption 2" in the PC port and the eve of the next generation gaming consoles, Xbox Scarlett and PlayStation 5, are linked to many speculations of what is to come next for the sixth iteration of the successful "GTA" series. We have even heard rumors that Rockstar Games have hired location scouts for a possible "GTA Vice City" remake.

Maps, missions, or latest additions like new cars in the game could also be good hints pointing to "GTA 6." This is what GTA Forum user Benefactor69 considers as early teasers of the sixth game iteration of Rockstar. "GTA Online" earlier last week received a new Weeny Dynasty car rolled out when The Diamond Casino & Resort update was released.

The GTA Forum member went into a lot of trouble explaining his "GTA 6" theory. The user has come up with a rather compelling explanation about his claim in a lengthy post. He questioned the logic of Rockstar Games, possibly reusing assets intended for "GTA 6" in "GTA Online?"

This theory is based on a rising number of vintage cars being released on "GTA Online" updates over the past few years. He believes that it could be just a filler or maybe because the game developer has run out of content for the online game. While he admits that he could not prove this, he states that it does make sense, noting that The Doomsday Heist was probably meant to be the last downloadable content for "GTA Online."

Rockstar Games has been mum about any details related to "GTA 6." Previously, a former Rockstar developer claimed that when he left the studio, he was able to work on a couple of games in the development stage. He added that he is not at liberty to discuss the titles yet. But, his claim is a strong indicator that Rockstar Games may be knee-deep in developing the much-awaited sixth iteration to the successful "GTA" series.
