In October, South Korean media reported that the Seoul-based tech and electronics giant is scheduled to receive test sockets to subject the periscope unit of the Samsung Galaxy S11. Several tech sites recently reported that the next Galaxy S series would have 5x zoom, which will be a vital upgrade from the current 2x zoom being offered by premium smartphones. Galaxy Club is now reporting fresh details about Samsung's next flagship smartphone.

The Dutch blog site revealed that the Samsung Galaxy S11 is hidden under the codename Hubble. The term Hubble is the first optical telescope to ever reach the outer space. The revolutionary device has, by far, captured countless photos.

This leads many to speculate that Samsung hid the Galaxy S11 under the code name Hubble because it will have a significant upgrade on its camera sensor. Oppo and Huawei have already released this kind of shooter on their devices. Wccftech believes that the speculations making rounds online about the Galaxy S11 having a 108 MP camera could have some substance on it too.

Samsung released the Galaxy S10 with a 12 MP camera sensor, and so far, the Seoul-based tech giant has not yet used high-resolution sensors on its flagship smartphones. But, it appears that it is about to change in 2020. A camera system with 5x optical zoom and 108 MP camera will produce amazingly high-quality images and probably live up to its code name granted that it will have the right set of software.

Another tip from a credible tipster Ice Universe states that the camera system of Samsung Galaxy S11 will utilize a new 108 MP sensor. Xiaomi and Samsung had launched a 108 MP sensor that will reportedly be in the Xiaomi Mi Note 10. Samsung reportedly made some tweaks on its 108 MP camera sensor to ensure that the devices that will have it will stand out.

It is worth noting that these details, while they sound interesting these have never been officially confirmed by Samsung. Most of these are speculations and claims, which we have no way of confirming if they are true. While at this point, we might not have more supporting evidence on the 5x zoom, we have already heard several reports about the 108 MP camera sensor. But, since these are speculations, we suggest taking these with skepticism and with a pinch of salt.
