Leaks, rumors, and speculations surrounding the next flagship smartphone from the Seoul-based tech and electronics giant started to flood online a few months ago right. We have heard rumors that the Samsung Galaxy S11 series will be released in February 2020. The latest leak claims that the highly anticipated flagship smartphone will come in three variants.
On Twitter, XDA Developers' Max Weinbach shares that Samsung has already begun the development of the software for the Samsung Galaxy S11. The writer claims that the next flagship smartphone from the Seoul-based tech giant will be released in three variants. Although the credible tipster does not provide details on the release window of the upcoming devices, he states that all three models will be 5G-ready.

Samsung is among the first smartphone makers in the industry to release 5G-ready products, giving the company an advantage, especially for consumers who prefer their devices equipped with the next-generation wireless network connectivity. 2020 is predicted to be the year where smartphone makers will launch 5G-ready products. OnePlus even assured the public that it will massively release 5G-ready smartphones at all price points.
Apple, on the other hand, held off the release of 5G-ready products this year for strategic and technical reasons. The Cupertino-based tech giant knows that 5G connectivity is still premature. However, Apple is reportedly developing the iPhone 12 with 5nm-based chip and Qualcomm X55 5G modem, indicating its desire to entire the 5G-ready smartphone segment.
Meanwhile, Samsung Galaxy S11 is also rumored to house Qualcomm x55 5G modem and will run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 865, which is speculated to have the X55 modem. Wccftech reports that the software of Samsung Galaxy S11 might be optimized for various markets with some models running on Exynos 9830. Weinbach earlier stated that the galaxy S11 series would not house the powerful Exynos 990, implying that the newly launched SoC might be utilized on Samsung's Galaxy A series.
All three Samsung Galaxy S11 models are also rumored to use the latest OneUI 2.0, which explains how the company has allegedly started the software development of the rumored flagship smartphones. But, these details are based on leaks, and like any other leaks, we recommend taking this with a pinch of salt. Between now and February 2020, expect to hear more leaks, speculations, and rumors surrounding the Samsung Galaxy S11 series.
