Juventus successfully beat Locomotive Moscow at 2-1 last Wednesday but for Cristiano Ronaldo, that night is one of his personal frustrations. The Italian titans got a place in the competition's knockout rounds. Ronaldo's dream got busted by his teammate and he watched his team win in the spectator's seat.
The Talisman was called off by Juventus manager Maurizio Sarri during the 82nd minutes and was replaced by Paulo Dybala. Daily Mail reported that Juventus boss' decision displeased Ronaldo considering a 1-1 balanced scoreline. As the legendary footballer walked into the touchline, he walked past the manager before having a word with him.
As he walked forward, Ronaldo turned and showed two fingers and reportedly manifested that something must have annoyed him. It was the first time that Cristiano Ronaldo had been replaced under Maurizio Sarri and only the third time in his entire Juventus career since he moved from Real Madrid in the summer of 2018. The Juventus manager, however, downplayed the reports and dismissed any concept that CP7 is mad at him.
According to Sarri, Cristiano Ronaldo's frustration was because of his knee and adductor problem. The Italian coach shared with SkySports that Ronaldo was not well and has been suffering for a few days of his knee and adductor, making him tire easily. The manager also revealed that the Talisman was nervous about it after the first half and when he saw his star make a movement that he felt was not good, he took him off while he was accelerating out of fear that he might harm himself.
The substitution was the final blow of the day after his goal was stolen by one of his teammates Aaron Ramsey. According to Daily Mail, Cristiano Ronaldo was eyeing to surpass the record he shares with Barcelona star Lionel Messi and Real Madrid legend Raul by scoring a 34th different club in the competition. He appeared to have done that in three minutes when he fired a powerful free-kick from the left-hand part that Guilherme let slip in his hands.
Ball was still slightly on the line when Ramsey touched it:

As the ball rolls over the line, Aaron Ramsay poked it into the net. Cristiano Ronaldo smiled but following EUFA's ruling, it appeared that the goal was credited to Ramsay and not to him. Ramsay admitted that he had already apologized to Ronaldo who claimed his instincts took over to ensure that the ball went over the line.
Aaron Ramsey has admitted he apologised to Cristiano Ronaldo after stealing his goal yesterday: “I thought the keeper was a lot closer to me and had a chance of diving back and maybe clearing it. I’ve apologised to Cristiano!" pic.twitter.com/nk53BN9qQa — FutbolBible (@FutbolBible) November 7, 2019
