Spain legend David Villa considers Harry Kane as the best striker in world football today and does not need to leave the Spurs to keep his position. Former Chelsea player Craig Burley thinks there is a chance that Harry Kane will entertain the thought of leaving the club following the exile of Mauricio Pochettino. In his farewell message to the former Tottenham coach, Kane made it clear the Argentinian's role in his progress as a football player.

On Tuesday night, Tottenham Hotspur Chief Executive Daniel Levy announced that it is letting go of Mauricio Pochettino as the club's head coach. Pochettino served the Spurs for almost six years and was sacked reportedly due to the poor performance of the club. The Whites only won three times out of all its matches in the league this year and on the 14th seat in the Premier League table.

Hotspur's last win happened at the end of September against Southampton ahead of a frustrating spell of results. Burley believes that Pochettino's exile from Tottenham will trigger other players in the club like Harry Kane to move away from the club. Manchester United and Real Madrid are likely the teams to offer a massive amount of deals for the striker.

Tottenham Hotspur is expected to lose Toby Alderweireld, Christian Eriksen, and Jan Vertonghen in the upcoming season considering that none of them are willing to ink new deals. The former Chelsea player claims that the Spurs now run the risk of losing Kane, whom Burley urged to be making a move to another European giant. On ESPN FC, the former Chelsea player said that if Tottenham is determined to improve its ranking this season, it should be prepared to spend big.

The 26 years old English striker is one of the most consistent goal scorers in the premier league since the 2014-2015 season. Harry Kane's career record for Tottenham in the English top-flight includes 131 goals in 189 matches. His international comeback stands at 32 goals in just 45 appearances. Additionally, Kane won the Golden Boot at the 2018 FIFA World Cup held in Russia after making six goals in England's run for the semis.

Because of his impressive performance, Harry Kane has been linked with the European giants like Manchester United and Real Madrid. Many believe that Pochettino's dismissal from Hotspur could trigger an increase in interest for Kane. In his farewell message to his coach and friend, the striker emphasized Pochettino's role in his progress as a player.

Jose Mourinho, Pochettino's successor will certainly keep Harry Kane at Tottenham. However, other teams might see an opportunity and lure him away from the Hotspur.
