New reports claim that Arsenal will go after Hungary midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai considering him as a replacement for Granit Xhaka. The former Arsenal captain is reportedly leaving the Emirates and is now being considered by AC Milan and Inter Milan. The Gunners have reportedly sent its top talent spotter to check the performance of the 19 years old RB Salzburg's midfielder during Hungary's match against Wales in Cardiff.

Earlier reports claimed that Arsenal was already considering Dominik Szoboszlai before but the initial plan was to bring him into the club in the summer of 2020. However, because of the imminent departure of Granit Xhaka and some turn of events, the transfer of the young midfielder might happen in the upcoming January transfer window. The 19 years old Hungarian footballer is slowly becoming one of the most wanted stars in Europe with Juventus and Inter Milan also eyeing to get him in their roster.

In September, Sun Sport reported that Arsenal already inquired about Dominik Szoboszlai's services. With a promising career ahead and a potential to be the next best central midfielder in the world, the young footballer was reportedly given a £15m price tag. The move did not push through but, it appears that the top Arsenal management is interested to do business with him.

Granit Xhaka's recent downfall has apparently sped up the situation. It can be recalled that Xhaka was stripped of his captaincy after he cursed and ranted against Arsenal supporters during the club's match against Crystal Palace. Rumors have it that Xhaka is now being offered a deal by Borussia Monchengladbach, however, Arsenal would like to get German footballer Denis Zakaria in exchange. Meanwhile, Xhaka is reportedly considering a moan move away from the Emirates in January with Italy as his highly likely destination.

Several sources revealed that Inter and AC Milan are both interested to get the Swiss midfielder whose future at the Emirates is still unknown. Earlier reports also claimed that Granit Xhaka was associated with a move to Newcastle. Following the incident with Arsenal supporters, Xhaka has not played a single match under Arsenal.

Because of this, Granit Xhaka is looking at moving out of the club but a transfer to Borussia Monchengladbach is already ruled out. It now depends on the two Milan clubs to secure the Swiss midfielder until the end of the season to finalize the deal.
