NCT 127 brought on an added cheer to Kpop fans by joining the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, one of the biggest parades to celebrate the holidays in the US.

According to a report by Teen Vogue, NCT 127 made history as the first Kpop act to perform at the annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Eight members of the group graced the parade in style on top of a Lego Brick Changer float which complemented their stylish outfits.

Mark, Johnny, Taeyong, Taeil, Doyoung, Yuta, Jaehyun, and Haechan cheerfully waved to the crowd amid the loud cheering from their international fans, as they traversed the traditional route of the Macy's Parade. However, NCT 127 had an additional surprise for fans in attendance. The members performed their hit song Highway to Heaven from their latest EP We are Superhuman.

NCTzens, the group's official fandom, took to social media to share their delight and pride at the group's strong presence at the event. Fans posted their favorite parts of the performance, too.

Apart from their appearance at the parade, Mark, Johnny, Taeyong, Taeil, Doyoung, Yuta, Jaehyun, and Haechan also made the most out of their stop at the US as they joined the TODAY Show's 2019 Citi Concert Series at the Rockefeller Plaza in New York City.

They will also perform at POPTOPIA 2019 on December 5 in California. For their final US stop, NCT 127 members will join the performers at the B96's Jingle Bash in Chicago.

In related news, NCT 127 was also nominated for three categories in the Mnet Asian Music Awards. Mark, Johnny, Taeyong, Taeil, Doyoung, Yuta, Jaehyun, and Haechan picked up nods for Best Male Group, Artist of the Year, and Worldwide Fans' Choice Top 10. Winners will be announced in a grand ceremony on December 4 at the Nagoya Dome in Japan.

It can be recalled that NCTzens earlier expressed apprehension when it was announced by SM Entertainment that Mark and Taeyong were selected to join SuperM, a new concept group made up of members of SHINEE, EXO, NCT 127 and WayV, Forbes reported.

Fans were worried that NCT 127 activities would be affected by Mark and Taeyong's new unit but SM Entertainment assured that the group's activities will not overlap. After SuperM's first US concert tour, members returned to their original units. Kai and Baekhyun joined the promotions for EXO's comeback album Obessesion, while WayV also made a comeback with Take Me To The Moon.
