Chinese tech giant Xiaomi is reportedly set to host an event for the launch of its new products, reports say. The said event is scheduled to start at 3 PM (China time) on December 10 and will be held in China. Reports claim that the teaser for the upcoming event, which will reportedly launch the much-awaited Pocophone F2, was recently shared by Xiaomi on its official Twitter account.
A teaser image was recently tweeted by the official Twitter account of the Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi. The image hints that Redmi k30, Poco F2, and Mi Mix 4 could be launched on the upcoming event, reports BGR India. The report claims that the much-awaited sequel of the popular Pocophone F1 teases that the Poco F2 will have a full-screen design and a pop-up camera selfie.
Earlier leaks suggest that the rumored Pocophone F2 will house the Qualcomm Snapdragon 700 series SoC. It will reportedly sport a 6.6-inch FHD+ 120 Hz display. The highly anticipated Poco F2 is also expected to have 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage.
Other reports claim that the Poco F2 will sport a 60 MP rear camera with a Sony IMX686 sensor and a 32 MP camera. Additionally, it will reportedly have a 5,000 mAh battery pack. Xiaomi has not yet said anything about the Poco F2, but Poco India previously confirmed that the brand is still alive with the much-awaited handset coming soon.
A few weeks ago, a 3C certification issued to a Xiaomi smartphone triggered speculations that it belongs to the Pocophone F2. The handset has a model number M1912G7BE/C and boasts a 27W Fast Charging. Fans noticed that the specs of the 3C certified handset resemble that of the Redmi K20 Pro.
Earlier, several sites reported about the smartphone case of Poco F2 spotted on the website of smartphone case maker Spigen. The product further triggered speculations that the Pocophone F2 is nearing its launch. A Twitter post a few months ago from A Xiaomi executive also triggered speculations that the highly anticipated sequel is arriving in November.
But, we are already in the last month of the year without a single confirmation from Xiaomi that Poco F2 is coming. If we take a look at the leaks, all we got are assumptions considering that all of them do not directly state the name of the device. The recent image tweeted by Xiaomi does not directly reveal the name of the products for the upcoming event.

In other words, we have no concrete evidence as of yet that the Pocophone F2 is launching anytime this year. As for the latest tweet, we suggest taking them with a pinch of salt and with skepticism until we hear it directly from Xiaomi or Poco.
