There was a time when Prince Harry killed Talibans in Afghanistan. In 2012, the Duke of Sussex was posted in the region while serving the the British Army and one of his missions was to co-pilot an Apache aircraft that flew wounded soldiers.

But one encounter raised the risks for the royal as Prince Harry helped in the rescue of U.S. soldiers taken by the extremists. According to Daily Mail, Prince Harry did not hesitate spraying bullets directed at the Taliban to cover and protect the rescuers. Relatives of the soldiers told the media outlet that Prince Harry indeed killed some of the members of the fundamentalist group.

Prince Harry talked about his experience with the army before. He said that everyone in his squadron was ordered to the line of fire so it followed that they all were able to fire weapons at the Taliban.

His time with the British Army, however, was cut short because of a safety risk. When the press got wind of his Afghanistan missions and reported these in the papers, Prince Harry was effectively decommissioned.

An aide of Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn once joked in 2013 that Prince Harry should have been left for the Talibans. Andrew Murray said this statement about sacrificing a royal during a Stop the War rally to bring the troops home.

According to Daily Express, Murray had to issue an apology for this careless remark. He also buckled and said that he was glad Prince Harry is back home safe from the war.

Murray could be making a comeback and secure a job on 10 Downing Street if Corbyn wins in the General Election this Dec. 12. As it is, the Daily Express reported that hi relationship with the royals isn't exactly smooth. Colleagues of Corbyn urged that Murray should be fired but he is the person behind the politician's campaign.

Prince Harry served the British Army for 10 years and he was not actually happy when they pulled him off duty for his own safety. According to his fellow soldiers, the Duke of Sussex took his responsibility as a soldier seriously and he never used his royal title to get out of dangerous missions.

Sources said that Prince Harry wanted to be in the military to do something that wasn't tied to his birth or lineage. As a soldier, he felt normal and always placed being a solider first than being a royal.
