Princess Charlotte, the second child of Prince William and Kate Middleton, has a new obsession. Just like her great grandmother Queen Elizabeth, the young royal is apparently growing fond with horses that she's asking for a pony for Christmas.

According to insiders, Princess Charlotte, 4, will not likely get a pony this year because her father thinks she's still too young to learn to ride, even if Queen Elizabeth herself had her first pony at four-years-old. However, the source also said that Cambridges' only daughter will not likely be disappointed about her Christmas gift.

Prince William and Kate apparently bought Princess Charlotte a toy riding center and a children's karaoke machine. Prince George, on the other hand, is going to get a new tennis racket and a football table, just as he asked on his Christmas list.

The two older Cambridge children will also get to share a new toy for Christmas -- a cookery set so that they can do more messy play in the kitchen. The source did not reveal what the youngest Prince Louis will be getting from his parents this holiday.

As much as possible, Prince William and Kate want to raise their children normally. The siblings actually get along quite well and would often put on the show for their mom and dad at home.

Kate revealed during one royal event that Princess Charlotte especially loves to perform. Prince William echoed that comment to say that the young princess likes to dance and she's taking dancing lessons.

Like any normal sibling, Prince George and Princess Charlotte also bicker as much as they are close to each other. They fight over toys and TV programs in the Kensington household.

Sources told The Sun that Princess Charlotte is quite the confident and feisty little girl while Prince George, the third in line to the throne, is more reserved than his younger sister. He's also more aware of watching out for his siblings and thus have the qualities of becoming an excellent leader.

Both Prince George and Prince Charlotte are enrolled at St. Thomas' Battersea in London. It's the first year for the young princess while Prince George has been with the school for three years.

Prince Louis, on the other hand, attends play dates since he's still barely two years old. The youngest Cambridge child is also reportedly clingy and super attached to his mother that he's deemed as the real mama's boy.
