Arsenal Captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is reportedly ready to exit Emirates next summer. The Gabonese footballer is allegedly stalling as he enters the final year of his contract with reports that he is growing frustrated because of his team's lack of trophies. But, the Gunners are reportedly setting a deadline for Aubameyang to sign a new deal, if not met, the club is reportedly willing to listen to offers for the player.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has reportedly pulled out of talks with the Gunners over a new contract, says Mirror. The Gabonese footballer is allegedly ready to quit Arsenal after a poor season that sees the club at the 10th spot. There are also growing worries that the next manager to succeed Unai Emery will have to run the club without its top scorer.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang enters the last year of his contract with the gunners in the summer and reports claim that he is stalling on a new contract. Several sources report that the 30 years old footballer is growing frustrated at Arsenal's inability to compete for top spots. The Gunners will listen to offers for the Gabonese footballer in the summer if they could not persuade him to ink a new contract so they could avoid losing him for nothing in 2021, says Daily Mail.

The reports come following Arsenal's interim coach Freddie Ljungberg losing his fight to prove the club that he is the manager to turn the fate of the Gunners. The 42 years old Swede coach was placed as interim coach after Unai Emery was sacked a week ago. However, Ljungberg has also a poor start, making only one point against Brighton and Norwich with Thursday's 2-1 home defeat against Seagulls extended the club's winless run to nine.

By the end of the season, if Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has not yet made up his mind and still refuses to commit his future to Arsenal, the club will listen to offers. The negotiation over a contract extension reportedly begun more than six months ago but the club has made little progress. Gunners are reportedly worried about the Gabonese footballer winding down his deal considering that the club invested £58m on him in 2018.

Reports claim that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is unwilling to extend his contract while there is so much uncertainty within Arsenal. Until now the club has not yet named Unai Emery's successor and Freddie Ljungberg's performance has so far placed the club on the depressing spot. Should the Gabonese forward refuse to commit, he will have one year on his deal then the Gunners will entertain offers for him by other clubs.
