An unearthed photo of Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, has royal fans in a daze as it revealed she was actively volunteering and making a big difference in the world long before she became the wife of Prince Harry.

The never-before-seen photo was shared on social media and it showed Meghan casually dressed in a t-shirt, winter jacket and a baseball cap. She worked in the soup kitchen of the St. Felix Centre in Toronto in between filming her former TV show Suits.

St. Felix Centre is one of 12 charities that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are highlighting on their Instagram this December. The center paid back the recognition by posting the throwback photo of Meghan as a volunteer.

While living in Toronto as an actress, Meghan was a regular at the St. Felix Centre's kitchen. One Thanksgiving, she brought in food, turkey and stuffing enough to feed 100 people in need.

Meanwhile, Meghan is currently resting from her royal duties with Prince Harry since the Sussex family are on a holiday break in the U.S. However, Daily Mail reported that the duchess is still on "full work mode" as she recently met up with a Hollywood publicist to discuss some ways to raise money for the Sussex Royal Foundation.

Duchess Meghan had a meeting with Keleigh Thomas Morgan while on vacation in Los Angeles, as she and Prince Harry plan to have a U.S. strategy for its next charity projects. The timing comes as the Sussex Royal Foundation is set to launch in the spring or summer of 2020 officially.

Los Angeles insiders said that Thomas Morgan has been working in secret with Meghan for some time now and something should be in the pipeline within the next 18 months. The report went on to reveal that Meghan has the full backing of Prince Harry as she steers the Sussex Royal Foundation's direction. Meghan full creative control over this planned project as well, which sources said could potentially become a worldwide venture involving Hollywood superstars and American businesses in the mix.

The Duchess of Sussex feels that this fundraiser will bring in "tens of millions of dollars" quickly. The Sussexes, however, will have to establish and file the paperwork if they plan to get their foundation off the ground in the United States, apart from the United Kingdom.
