Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have millions of followers on Instagram. It's their preferred social media platform for their causes and charities and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are using this online tool quite well to connect with their audience.

So well-versed are Prince Harry and Meghan in handling their Sussex Royal account that a royal expert claimed Princess Diana would be very proud her son and his wife. According to royal commentator Omid Scobie, Prince Harry and Meghan's hands-on approach would be something Lady Di could agree on as she would likely take the same approach if she were alive.

Scobie shared that one of the things followers of the Sussex Royal account may observe is the clean and uniformed photo posts. It was Meghan's idea to use white borders in all of its photos. She and Prince Harry also carefully thought about the shade of blue to use in their other updates

Meghan is also quite familiar in how to analyze a social media account's algorithm. The former American TV star used to run her own lifestyle blog before she met Prince Harry. Thus, Meghan apparently draws her knowledge about page aesthetics, page engagement boosting and navigating the social media landscape.

Scobie also said that Princess Diana will love how Prince Harry and Meghan think outside of the box when it comes to doing things differently on social media. Each month, the couple unfollows their previous list and then follows new charities or personalities that bring positive changes in the world to highlight and raise public awareness.

The royal commentator said that these are the things that the late Princess of Wales might do as well if she had been alive in the social media age. Princess Diana's legacy was her humanitarian advocacies.

Meanwhile, the Duke and Duchess are spending a quiet break from their royal duties by going to the U.S. They are going to celebrate their son Archie Harrison's first Christmas in America with Meghan's mother, Doria Ragland.

Though on a break, the couple's Instagram remains active. They have just posted an update about the Duke of Sussex's charity, Endeavour Fund, which focuses on injured servicemen in the Armed Forces.

Prince Harry created this charity when he got out of service after his tour of duty in Afghanistan. The Sussex Royal account shared that the charity has had 17 grants for 2019, which will benefit 200 families. In total, Endeavour Fund has helped 6,000 WIS (wounded, injured, and sick) service personnel since its launch.
