Jennifer Lopez almost doubted her ability as a singer and actress when she dated popular men like Ben Affleck, Sean "P. Diddy" Combs and Marc Anthony. She admitted that these relationships made her feel helpless because all the stories about her back then were about her love life.

In an interview with CBS Sunday Morning, Lopez revealed that being with these men was what the tabloids focused on instead of her music or acting career. She felt that her talents were discredited by the press and she felt helpless against the tabloid stories coming out about her on a regular basis.

Lopez went on to say that she started to think that she may be a fraud because the attention she was getting wasn't about her abilities as an actress or a singer. She experienced her life being magnified under the press and she could not do anything else to counter this negative aspect of fame.

The pop superstar, however, said that she's not complaining about her relationships with these men. He truly loved her exes and had genuine feelings for them. She also learned a great deal from her ex-lovers. With Combs, who is still friends with Lopez, the singer said that she learned more about the music business and realized the kind of artist she'd like to be.

In another interview with Vanity Fair, Lopez admitted that she lost herself while she was with Affleck. Dubbed "Bennifer" during their years together, the World of Dance judge said that it was scary time because, as much as they wanted to keep their relationship low key, they were constantly in the headlines.

Affleck actually spoke about their relationship soon after their split. He revealed that they made a mistake as couple because they were too accessible to the press.

Today, however, Lopez is happy settled with boyfriend Alex Rodriguez. The singer and the Yankee star got engaged in March 2019 and are reportedly planning a big wedding in 2020 with her son Max potentially walking her down the aisle. Lopez said that she would like a church wedding as she didn't have one when she married Anthony nearly 12 years ago.

But the wedding planning is taking a backseat, at least until February as Lopez is going to be the star of the Super Bowl Halftime show with fellow Latina Shakira. Lopez has been rehearsing non-stop to prepare for the big event. She said that this moment is just like winning an Oscar
