Ellen DeGeneres And Portia De Rossi are considered as one of Hollywood's most successful couples. Married for 11 years and together for less than two decades, they have weathered through countless rumors about their relationship.

But, the thing about their marriage that could disappoint America is the fact that they don't have any children. DeGeneres and De Rossi do not have plans of raising their own kids and are content with simply spoiling their nieces.

During an interview with Jimmy Kimmel on his talk show, De Rossi said that their choice of not having children is not just a blow to their mothers but to "the whole of America." See, rumors won't die down that they are planning to have kids but De Rossi confirmed that it's not in their plans as a married couple.

Though they both love children, DeGeneres also said in an interview with Today that they can't make such a life-long commitment. She also felt that she's too old to be having babies even if they are cute.

DeGeneres met De Rossi in 2000 and it was love at first sight for the former Scandal star. However, she was a closeted gay person at that time with a burgeoning career. She was also dating someone else before she and DeGeneres got together.

It would take four years for that meet up to happen and a year later, De Rossi would come out and tell the world she's a lesbian. DeGeneres and De Rossi would make their relationship public at a Golden Globes party in 2005, which was also the same year they would move in together.

In 2010, the couple got married, with De Rossi taking the name of her wife. Legally, she was going to be known as Portia Lee James DeGeneres. Soon after their wedding, the divorce rumors sparked in the tabloids. None of it affected their relationship as De Rossi celebrated her 10th anniversary with DeGeneres in December 2018.

DeGeneres said that De Rossi truly gets who she is. She is a supportive partner who understands the core of DeGeneres' being as an artist and as a person.

Recently, DeGeneres was given the highest honors for comedy at the 2020 Golden Globe Awards. She attended the event with De Rossi beaming beside her even as DeGeneres forgot to thank her wife on the stage. Still, it was a proud moment for this Hollywood couple.
