Jennifer Aniston used to have a nickname for Angelina Jolie. A source said that the Friends star, sometimes, was referred to her rival as the "Groom Raider" after she divorced from Brad Pitt.
According to Mirror, Aniston endured the pain and hurt after her marriage to Pitt ended in divorce and he got into a relationship with Jolie. As the world knows, Pitt's marriage to Jolie also did not last although they were together for 12 years.
Sources said Aniston always felt that Jolie was not right for her ex-husband. The Friends star, apparently, thinks that Jolie was such a complex person while Pitt was a simple man.
Pitt loved hanging out with his friends and was a pretty regular guy despite his Hollywood profile. He was also an easy man to please who can live contently with so little.
Aniston, allegedly, perceived that Jolie was a manipulator. Thus, she and her friends called her the Groom Raider.
Meanwhile, though Aniston and Pitt divorced in 2005, their ties together are having a renaissance these days after the stars have been seen at parties and events together in the last year. Now both single, the actress and the actor were recently at the same Golden Globes party to celebrate Pitt's big win for Best Supporting Actor thought they did not arrive together.
According to Metro, Aniston was with her friend Jennifer Meyer when Pitt arrived at the same venue. Earlier that day, Pitt apparently told Entertainment Tonight that he's looking forward to running into Aniston, whom he described as is good friend.
In his acceptance speech, Pitt joked that his personal life is such a disaster as he shared the award with is co-star Leonardo DiCaprio. He also said that he wanted to bring his mother to the Golden Globes but anyone he stood next to in public was touted as his girlfriend and it would be awkward to have his mom with him. All the while Pitt made his speech, the camera focused on Aniston who was beaming with pride at her ex-husband.
Sources from E! said that Aniston and Pitt had a brief chat at the Golden Globes party. They didn't have any photos together but they were cordial and friendly to each other.
Aniston was also spotted whispering something to Pitt but it was not in a loving way. Sources said that they were both just happy to be there and to celebrate the awards night with other people.
