The next flagship series of the South Korean tech and electronics giant, the Samsung Galaxy S11 or Galaxy S20 is anticipated to unveil at the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event. Over the past months, features and specs of the next flagship smartphone series from Samsung have been leaked. But, it appears that another major feature of the Galaxy S11 or Galaxy S20 was leaked recently.

A new report from the Samsung news outlet SamMobile reveals another major feature of the Samsung Galaxy S11 or S20 was leaked at the recent CES 2020. According to the report, both Samsung Galaxy S11 or Galaxy S20 and Samsung Bloom will feature 8K video recording resolution. After the official launch of the products, at the Unpacked event on Feb. 11, 2020, Samsung will enable 8K streaming, add the report.

Samsung is reportedly collaborating with the search engine giant Google to make 8K video streaming possible, according to the report. Samsung is hoping to address the shortage of 8K content by providing people with the capability to create one with Samsung Galaxy S11 or Galaxy S20. Meanwhile, another report claims that Samsung will not release the Galaxy S11.

According to the report, the South Korean tech company will use the name Galaxy S20 for its next flagship smartphone series. In the past week, popular tipster Ice Universe said that the device would be released under the name Galaxy S20. Today, XDA Developers released the first actual photos of the Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus.

The official name is confirmed on the photos, which show on the startup screen of the handset. Based on these photos, it appears that Samsung is naming its flagship smartphone by year. In addition to the official name, the actual photos also reveal the front device of the upcoming handsets.

The photos show the hole-punch cutout that resembles a lot like the Samsung Galaxy Note 10. Also, it seems that the company has mellowed down on the curved sides that we see on the Galaxy S10 and S10 Plus. As per XDA Developers, the S20 Plus falls flat in hand.

The back part of the Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus photos show a massive camera setup, which was earlier rumored to feature an ultra-wide, regular wide, macro, and portrait lenses. While these reports appear exciting and legit, it is worth mentioning that these are not official information about the flagship smartphone device from Samsung. We will certainly know more details about the Samsung Galaxy S20 series on Feb. 11 at the Samsung Unpacked event.
