Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are no longer senior members of the royal family. After a series of talks with Queen Elizabeth, it's been decided that they will be moving to Canada half the time, while still supporting Her Majesty's advocacies and work.

A poll conducted by Daily Mail and J.L. Partners showed that 51 percent of the public want the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to renounce their official royal titles. Sixty percent of the respondents also said that Prince Harry and Meghan must be evicted from Frogmore Cottage in Windsor if they are scaling down on their work as royals.

The poll also revealed that 71 percent believe Prince Harry and Meghan were wrong to defy Queen Elizabeth and not tell her that they will be making a statement. However, 50 percent of the public support Prince Harry and Meghan's decision to give up their roles as senior royals.

Presenter Jeremy Vine received a caller named Elizabeth on his show who said that Prince Harry and Meghan must be stripped off their royal titles. Viewers of the talk program also agreed with the caller, with one person saying that if the Sussex couple does not want the responsibility of being full-time royal family members, then they must give up their titles.

Another viewer, however, said that the only reason Prince Harry and Meghan may want to keep their titles is so to make money off the Sussex name. The couple has trademarked Sussex Royal in late 2019.

But even if Prince Harry loses the title of Duke of Sussex, he will remain a royal since he was born into this extra-ordinary family. He didn't receive his title as Prince Harry, as he was born with it.

Meanwhile, some royal fans think that Prince Harry and Meghan could eventually have no more royal titles. The clue comes from Queen Elizabeth's most recent statement to indicate that she is supporting the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's desire to be financially independent of the royal family.

In it, the Queen did not refer to her grandchildren by their official royal titles. Instead, Queen Elizabeth used their first names, Harry and Meghan, in the statement.

Royal expert Victoria Arbiter thinks that the use of Harry and Meghan was quite telling. However, a royal fan said that Queen Elizabeth's statement highlighted how she still regards Prince Harry and Meghan as family.
