Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's royal exit has been received differently by the many. Some said they are ruining a family relationship with their decision, while others are praising them for their bold move. But, no matter what fate they will have, one royal expert believes they still have to resolve a significant issue about the advisory team they have.
In the podcast Pod Save the Queen, host Ann Gripper and Daily Mirror royal editor Russell Myers talked about the major problem in the Sussexes' plan to step down as senior members of the royal family. Despite their desire to leave their royal duties, they are still working in some royal capacity, and it all goes down to the advisory team they have on board.
"It seems they've taken this decision to hit the nuclear button on their royal careers," Myers said. By the looks of it, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are being advised by the people who have zero knowledge about how the royal family works, per Express.
Although some people would say that it would be totally refreshing to see the royal couple working on their progressive roles, it couldn't be denied that they go against Queen Elizabeth II's wishes. Myers cleared that he has nothing against their decision to leave the monarchy, as he knew they needed some breathing space.
As the leader of the Commonwealth, Her Majesty surely wanted to keep everything in-house and craft a solution of how Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's plan could work. Although the Palace didn't know it would happen, the two published on their new website how they believed their new roles would run that left everyone dumbfounded.
"It was lovely that William and Kate had their cottage in Anglesey, and then in Norfolk," Gripper added. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex could work out what their life was. Prince William and Kate Middleton themselves were part-time royals as they weren't on the senior royal rota.
However, Gripper believed Meghan Markle and Prince Harry "gone straight, all in." By the looks of it, Myers seemed convinced that everything boiled down to a breakdown of a family relationship.
Business Times Online, recently, reported that the CNBC co-founder and media CEO Bridget Barker echoed the same sentiment. She believed what happened in the royal family could have been handled well if Prince Harry made the announcement with his family, Queen Elizabeth, Prince Charles, and Prince William, by his side. She also saw their move as weak and manipulative.
