Queen Elizabeth may already be in her 90s, but she is not showing any signs of slowing down when it comes to her royal duties. Unfortunately, her old age is making it easy for her to catch illnesses.

Recently, Her Majesty was set to visit the Sandringham branch of the Women's Institute in Norfolk, but she was forced to pull out of the engagement. This annual event is very important for Queen Elizabeth as she attended these meetings since 1943. However, this time she was prohibited to go.

A member of Queen Elizabeth’s security said that the monarch caught a cold and it quickly sparked health concerns. But the palace reassured that Her Majesty is not suffering from anything serious. "No cause for alarm, I am assured,” royal expert Rebecca English wrote.

Meanwhile, a bogus report previously claimed that Queen Elizabeth and Prince Charles’ health are failing. It even went on to say that the Queen may not survive after the summer, and the future king is “dying.” If this is the case, then Prince William is set to lead the monarchy as he is the second in the line of succession to the British throne.

“Her Majesty wants to ensure the future of the monarchy in these troubled times. Elizabeth, who has been diagnosed with a fatal heart condition of her own, knows she may not survive until summer, too,” the unnamed sources purported. “She fears the monarchy will be destabilized if her death is quickly followed by Charles’ coronation and sudden passing. To avoid any crisis, she has named William heir to the throne.”

Although Queen Elizabeth and Prince Charles are understandably much weaker than they were before because of their age, the recent claims about them are unnecessary. In fact, a lot of royal fans are very impressed that they still, especially the Queen, manage to complete their royal obligations.

“Longevity is related most strongly to two factors: genes and surviving childhood. She's done well on both. Her mother was over 100. Her father might have lived longer had he not smoked like a chimney,” one fan wrote. “It all happened when she inherited her genes from her mum, who lived to 101. Obviously, good health care helps too,” another one shared.

While Queen Elizabeth’s trait as a hardworking Queen is very admirable and inspiring, there is actually a downside to it. A Palace source revealed that Her Majesty told a friend in 2018 that her “knees were playing up.”
