The Motorola RAZR is well on its way to consumers next month. A few days ago, we reported about a leak claiming that Motorola is working on another smartphone that would feature a stylus pen-the Motorola Edge Plus. Today, a new report reveals that the rumored smartphone is spotted on Geekbench, showcasing some of its key specs.
A previous leak courtesy of Even Blass revealed that the Motorola Edge Plus could be the next flagship smartphone arriving this year. It might officially launch on Feb. 23 at the company's special event during the Mobile World Congress. So far, the company has not yet released a statement about the rumored smartphone.
Motorola Edge Plus Geekbench Listing
Earlier today, the Motorola Edge Plus surfaced on Geekbench's database. It lists the motherboard as burton and reveals an eight cores processor with a base frequency of 1.80 GHz. Moreover, the smartphone got a single-core test score of 4106 and a multi-core test score of 12823.
The Geekbench listing also reveals that the Motorola Edge Plus runs on the Android 10 operating system. It has a whopping 12 GB RAM. The term burton could be referring to the mobile operating system, which many presume to be Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 System On Chip. So far, these are the tech specs available for the rumored flagship smartphone of Motorola.
Other Specs And Features
Leaked renders of the device reveal that it might be equipped with a stylus pen. It appears that the pen would be fitted on its curved head. Also, there is a noticeable earpiece just above the display.
On the left side of the Motorola Edge Plus, render is the volume rocker button. It also sports a punch-hole display, which could explain its thin top and bottom bezels. Previous Motorola smartphones have remarkably thick bezels.
Based on its physical features, it seems that the Motorola Edge Plus would be introduced as a mid-range smartphone. It is worth mentioning that these specs, while interesting, are not yet official. Also, Geekbench listing could be edited, so there is a chance that what we are looking right now could be a fake one.
Meanwhile, Motorola earlier announced that it would release Motorola Razr 5G in China this year. It is not yet clear when is the release date of the 5G version of the foldable smartphone. The company did not say if the 5G variant would also arrive in other countries. The Motorola Razr is slated to arrive in Feb. 6, 2020. It is exclusively available on Verizon in the US and EE in the UK.
