On February 4, the Zach Sang Show posted its interview with BTS, where the boys discussed the meaning behind their upcoming album title “Map of the Soul: 7” and their newly released singles at the time, “Interlude: Shadow” and “Black Swan.” This interview was done after their iHeartRadio LIVE Q&A on January 27.

At one point, Zach Sang asked the BTS members if how do they measure success. There are so many answers to this very broad question, but J-Hope answered it in the sweetest way possible.

“What is success to you?” the host asked. “I see it in the faces of people smiling around me. It can be in any situation. Like when my family and everyone around me sees me at our concert and smile,” J-Hope said.

J-Hope's response clearly reveals that success to him is not all about him, but it's how he makes other people feel. After all, the 25-year-old rapper, songwriter, dancer, and record producer is not called “sunshine” for nothing.

BTS has said multiple times that they are nothing with the ARMYs. While most celebrities are slowly being blinded by fame and fortune, RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook have remained very grateful and humble. In fact, these traits are what making that fans love them even more aside from their amazing music and fun personalities.

Meanwhile, BTS is arguably one of the most successful groups in history. RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook have proven time and time again that having different having languages is not a barrier and that music can bring people in different races and cultures together.

With that said, BTS has a lot of international fans, who don’t even speak or understand Korean. But everyone bonded because of their music, and BTS appreciate that a lot.

J-Hope even shared during their iHeartRadio LIVE Q&A a fun fact that he learned while creating his first-ever collaboration “Chicken Noodle Soup” with Becky G. The BTS star revealed that he and the Latina singer had something in common.

“When I was young, my first dance class was 'Chicken Noodle Soup,' and Becky’s too!” J-Hope shared. “We spoke different languages, but we communicated through music.”

J-Hope then proceeded to give Becky G. a shout out. “Becky, how are you?” he said as he waved and looked at the camera while bursting into laughter after that.
