They say that a father’s love is equal to all children, but there’s just something about their daughters that capture their hearts more. This is no different from Prince William and Princess Charlotte’s relationship.
In fact, the future king of the United Kingdom and the other Commonwealth realms recently showed how much he is smitten by his four-year-old daughter. Prince William attended a royal engagement in South Wales, on Tuesday, and when a well-wisher shared that her favorite was Princess Charlotte, the proud dad was happy to hear it.
“Yes she is lovely — just like my wife,” the Duke of Cambridge said. But, don’t feel bad for Prince George and Prince Louis as Prince William talked about his three children on several occasions throughout his visit.
Prince William, then, proved that they can be relatable despite their royal status when he saw a young girl reading Julia Donaldson’s “Room On The Broom” and said, “I read this to our children all the time.” This revelation is very sweet as it confirmed that, even though the royal family has a lot of staff who work for them, the Prince still chooses to be like any other regular dads out there.
The Duke of Cambridge shared that he told the author of the book, “do you realize how many parents you have saved at bedtime?” He then proceeded to share another author for parents and kids to consider checking out. “David Walliams also does really good books for children — for a little bit older children I think. I have read one, and it was really good,” he said.
Although Prince William and Kate Middleton are the future King and Queen of Consort, meaning they are dealing with a lot of pressure and complete multiple royal obligations for years, they have remained to be hands-on parents. The Duke of Cambridge even shared before that he enjoys playing football with Prince George and Princess Charlotte while the Duchess encourages them to spend more time outside as much as possible.
Meanwhile, Kate Middleton has been dubbed as the “Queen of normal.” Ever since she joined the royal family in 2011, people have noticed that the Duchess of Cambridge has not forgotten her roots.
It is public knowledge that Kate Middleton was born a commoner. But, when she married Prince William, they were given the title Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. Despite that, the mother-of-three is still known for doing normal things and the Duke of Cambridge has adapted this style as well.
