Apple iPhones are some of the most secure smartphones available in the market today. The Cupertino company was recently asked by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to help in unlocking the iPhone of an alleged shooter in Pensacola. But, it appears that one of the most secured iPhone models was recently jailbroken by a developer.

iPhone 11 Pro Max Jailbroken

The jailbreaking community knows Pwn20wnd and his team for their jailbreaking tools. Recently, Pwn20wnd shared on his Twitter account that he developed a tool to jailbreak iPhone 11 Pro Max running on iOS 13.3. The developer also said that he is working to improve the jailbreak tool itself.

When this is done, Pwn20wnd said the jailbreaking tool would be much safer for people to use to jailbreak their iPhone 11 Pro Max. The developer also said that they are currently developing the tool to provide support for all devices. Recently the uncover team was able to include a new device to the list of tools published.

Unc0ver To Jailbreak iPhones on A13

Over the past months, unc0ver's checkra1n jailbreaking tool has been gaining traction because of its support for iOS 13. However, checkra1n could not jailbreak A12 and A13 devices. These devices include iPhone XS Max, iPhone XS, iPhone XR, iPhone 11 series, Gen 3 iPad Air, and Gen 5 iPad Mini.

Unc0ver, on the other hand, would support devices running on both A12 and A13 mobile processors. The team is planning to roll out support for all iOS devices on iOS 13.3. While checkra1n is a popular jailbreaking tool, it could not achieve such a feat.

Support for Apple's A12 devices is not new for unc0ver. However, in the past, the team could not breakthrough both A12 and A13; thus, it failed to provide the kind of support that they would soon roll out. Apparently, this was one of the reasons why unc0ver jailbreaking tools lost its magic to checkra1n.

FBI Cracked an iPhone 11 Pro Max in Ohio

Despite earlier reports that the FBI was seeking the help of Apple in unlocking the iPhone of the alleged shooter in Pensacola, its official in Ohio was reportedly able to unlock one of the most secured iPhones available in the market today. Last month, Forbes reported that the bureau was able to unlock the iPhone 11 Pro Max of Baris Ali Koch, with the use of a gray or black market tool GrayKey.
