Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are on their way to achieve what they want when they announced they were stepping back from the royal family. Reports cited that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are closing deals that will enable them to land good-paying jobs.

According to Daily Mirror, Prince Harry might become involved in the financial giant Goldman Sachs' "Talks at GS" web series as one of its high-profile speakers. Though talking to an audience isn't where the money is, in this particular case, his emerging relationship with the company will, apparently, pave the way for the Duke of Sussex to have more lucrative opportunities.

Sources close to the Sussexes said that there have indeed been negotiations between Prince Harry and Goldman Sachs since November 2019. However, the duke is said to be pushing the deal for his charities and not for his personal gain. If all goes well, Prince Harry could potentially earn $1.3 billion in a year.

Prince Harry was, reportedly, paid nearly a million dollars for appearing and doing a speech at the JP Morgan summit with American bankers and economic leaders early this February. The Duke of Sussex talked about how he coped and managed his mental health after the death of his mother, Princess Diana.

The Alternative Investment Summit was Prince Harry and Meghan's first public appearance since Queen Elizabeth confirmed they will no longer be asked to do their royal duties. The event took place in a luxury hotel in Miami, Florida.

Meanwhile, Meghan is, reportedly, closing deals as well. In January, reports revealed that Prince Harry cozied up to Disney big boss Bob Iger during the London premiere of The Lion King last July 2019. He pitched to Iger that Meghan could be great for voiceovers, thus essentially closing a deal with Disney for Meghan to narrate a documentary. The Duchess of Sussex pledged her earnings for this gig to the charity Elephants Without Borders.

But, this is not the only deal Meghan is closing with the gigantic studio. In fact, sources said that the voiceover work for Disney is just the start. The former TV actress could slowly be returning to Hollywood.

Daily Mail further reported that the Duchess of Sussex is on the hunt for a new talent agent or manager two years after she gave up acting, when she became a member of the royal family.  Friends say that the Sussex royals have no regrets about their decision as they are starting to feel like they could breathe again after being constricted as royals.
