It might seem like Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have found a replacement name for Sussex Royal after Queen Elizabeth blocked the pair from using names with any "royal" connotation. Reports cited that there's a registration for "Sussex Global Charities," which has been linked to Meghan's best friend Jessica Mulroney.

According to Daily Mail, Meghan's fashion stylist bestie has The Shoebox Project, which was founded by Mulroney and her sisters-in-law several years ago as a women's shelter. Apparently, The Shoebox Project is behind the domain registration of sussexglobalcharities.com.

However, Mulroney denied that she or her foundation had anything to do with the registration. In a post on Twitter, Meghan's best friend insinuated that the report from Daily Mail was inaccurate and that that further investigations will reveal that the registration belongs to a Mr. Roy in North Carolina.

Sources told Entertainment Tonight that Mr. Roy is a private individual who has no connection to Mulroney or the Duchess of Sussex. It's speculated that the person behind the registration was simply cashing in on other people's names.

Daily Mail also reported that Andrew Meyer, the duchess' business manager in the U.S., registered two domain names in October 2018 or just a few days after her pregnancy announcement. These names were archefoundation.com and archefoundation.org. The choices suggested that Meghan and Prince Harry might consider using their son's name, Archie Harrison, as their new foundation.

Prince Harry and Meghan said in a statement that they will comply with the Queen's decision to no longer use the word "royal" in their brand. They will be announcing the name of their new endeavour by spring 2020 as they officially step back from the royal family.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex might also be changing its highly popular Instagram page since its name is currently Sussex Royal, with 11.2 million followers. Their previous applications for trademarks have also been relinquished.

Per Buckingham Palace sources, the use of "royal" in their brand was a complex situation. The finer details of their arrangement with the Queen are still being discussed as Prince Harry and Meghan return to London this March. The new arrangement will be good for 12 months and will be reviewed thereafter.

Earlier, Prince Harry and Meghan visited experts in Standford to brainstorm ideas for their new foundation. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are planning to expand their brand into a profitable venture as they want to gain financial independence from the royal family.
