Prince Harry is staying put in the U.K. as his wife, Meghan Markle, flew back to Vancouver, Canada after the royal family reunion. The Duke of Sussex still has a few meetings to attend to before he and the Duchess of Sussex officially step down from their royal roles on March 31.

According to The Telegraph, Meghan was quite emotional as she bid their former staff goodbye. Prince Harry, however, will be joining his wife and son back in Canada after he completes his business in the U.K. The duke is currently holding office in Buckingham Palace.

Prince Harry and Meghan will keep some of their patronages and positions in their new royal roles. However, they won't be asked to serve as the Queen's representatives in royal engagements.

Come April, Prince Harry and Meghan are expected to reveal their next venture as they live away from the royal spotlight. Speculations are rife that the Sussex couple could relocate to the United States in the near future.

According to E! News, Prince Harry and Meghan have been looking for a house in Los Angeles and will likely be moving in by the summer. The couple is also reaching out to people in Hollywood to assemble their working team as they try to find new work to become financially independent from the Sovereign Grant.

However, a royal commentator urged the Duke of Sussex to reconsider his decision and stop "chasing the big money" in the United States. Dan Wootton said on Jeremy Vine's show that the Sussexes could have done so much better by staying as senior members of the royal family and helping out with the Queen's charities.

This comes as it has been rumored that Prince Harry will be accepting guest speaking engagements for big companies like Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan. According to Wootton, the speaking gigs promise a million bucks per appearance. Meghan, on the other hand, is speculated to be working deals in Hollywood. However, the Duchess of Sussex won't exactly be returning to acting.

Prince Harry said in a recent interview that he and Meghan want to be involved in something that will make a difference. The duke said that they might not pursue a new charity to replace the Sussex Royal Foundation.

The Sussexes announced in January that they want to step back as senior royals. In doing so, they have also accepted the terms given by the Queen, which included foregoing using their royal titles. Prince Harry even said in one of his speaking engagements that people can simply call him just Harry from now on.
