BTS's stylist is responsible for RM, Jin, Suga, J-hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook’s stylish ensembles during tours, appearances, promotions, and more. But when they’re not doing these important activities, the BTS boys wear clothes that show off their personal style.
In a 2016 interview, the BTS boys were asked about fashion. Although RM, Jin, Suga, J-hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook look amazing on and off the stage, all of the boys chose the same member as the one who dresses the best.
“I like clothes the most so I think the members might have chosen me,” RM said. As it turns out, the BTS leader knows his members very well as all of them chose him.
“RM always dresses in various styles of clothes. But I like to dress in a more classic style so although I like RM’s styling, it isn’t my personal preference,” Jin said. “RM loves clothes the most so I choose him,” J-Hope shared. “ I choose RM and V because they both don’t care what other people think and dress the way they want,” Jimin noted. “RM dresses well but I enjoy my style the most,” V pointed out. “RM has the most amounts of clothes. I think he has three times as much as I do,” Jungkook revealed. Suga was not able to participate in the interview due to personal schedules.
When asked if they care about fashion while meeting their fans, the boys had different answers. While it’s part of a celebrity’s job to look good for the fans, some of the BTS members were shockingly not that keen about it, at least not during the time the interview was done.
“I care a lot. I always care about how I dress wherever I go. Isn’t everyone like that?” RM said. “I can’t say that I don’t care because we are public figures and a lot of people are watching us. Photos of us are taken when we go to schedules or for the press and I’m sometimes shocked at what I’m wearing when I see photos later. It’s nice to be dressed nice and look good for the photos.” J-Hope shared. “I usually care quite a lot about these things. I don’t act like I don’t care because I really do care a lot about this,” V admitted.
As for the remaining members, they shared that looking good is the least of their worries.
“Honestly, I don’t really care that much about clothes, but because I am an idol and fans will be watching us, I try my best to look decent. But, I don’t really have a huge interest in clothes and don’t really care about what people think about what I am wearing,” Jin said. “It’s nice for everyone to see us but I don’t care too much about what people think,” Jimin noted. “I could really go out in my pajamas and not care at all,” Jungkook shared.
