Gwyneth Paltrow is one of the busiest Hollywood actresses in the past years and yet, she has been rumored to be planning a "movie comeback." Here's a look on why a tabloid claimed Paltrow is done with TV shows and stressing out in her big comeback on the big screen.

The National Enquirer claimed Paltrow is hoping to revive her career in movies after her Netflix documentary series, The Goop Lab, wasn't received well by both the viewers and critics. The show and Gwyneth's controversial lifestyle and wellness company Goop have been receiving criticisms for, allegedly, presenting unsubstantiated health claims in the TV series.

Netflix has been slammed as well for giving Paltrow a platform to promote her company. Due to the backlash of his TV show, the actress, reportedly, wants to go back to her comfort zone which is movies.

"Gwyneth is tired of the business world. She wants to go back to where she was most appreciated," the source said.

The Iron Man actress is, reportedly, eyeing to team up with Tom Cruise for her movie comeback. The insider added that Gwyneth is optimistic that working with the Mission Impossible actor will be a win-win for both of them.

Gossip Cop, however, is not seeing any truth on all of the National Enquirer claims. The publication pointed out that there is no reason for Shakespeare in Love actress to reignite her career since she never took a break in the first place. Paltrow has been doing projects for the past years as compared to her colleagues.

She recently finished her long-term commitment with Marvel Cinematic Universe in the last installment of The Avengers last year. Paltrow played the role of Iron Man/Tony Stark's love interest, Pepper Potts, for more than a decade.

The Contagion actress currently stars in The Goop Lab and another Netflix series, The Politician. The streaming giant has yet to renew The Goop Lab. The Politician, on the other hand, has already been renewed for Season 2

Paltrow served as executive producer of both shows. Her husband Brad Falchuk is also the EP for The Politician.

Gossip Cop noted that if ever Paltrow is thinking about returning to making movies, there is no reason why she would choose Cruise as her on-screen partner. The two haven't had much contact other than their cameo in the 2002 movie Austin Powers in Goldmember where they shared a kiss at the beginning of the movie.

The site also reached out to Paltrow's spokesperson for clarification. The actress' rep also dismissed the rumor that the actress is done with TV projects and now planning to focus on making movies.
