George and Amal Clooney have been married for over five years now. They have been spending time in both their homes in London and Los Angeles. But new rumors have it that the celebrity couple is now having issues on where to live and they have different preferences.

Life & Style claimed that George and Amal's marriage is drifting apart because they disagreed about their living situation. Apparently, the Money Monster actor would like to move back to LA.

"As he gets older, George wants to be closer to family and friends. He fixed up his bachelor pad in Studio City and has even got Julia Roberts, Rande Gerber and Cindy Crawford trying to persuade Amal to pack her bags," a source of the tabloid said.

However, Amal, reportedly, never liked LA and she finds people in the city, including some of her husband's friends, to be fake. The human rights lawyer, allegedly, prefers to live at their Berkshire estate in England. This issue supposedly caused tension in the couple's marriage.

Gossip Cop insisted that these allegations are totally absurd. The couple is not having problems in their current living situation.

The outlet pointed out that it's true that both of the Clooneys' residences in the U.K. and U.S. have undergone renovations in recent years. However, it doesn't imply that they are fighting over where to settle down.

Gossip Cop also noted that several tabloids have made different claims over the past years about George and Amal's living situation. The most recent one was in February this year.

Woman's Day claimed the couple barely saw each other over the past months because they are living in different countries. Amal lives in England and juggles work and raising their twins.

George, on the other hand, has been accused of staying most of the time at their Lake Como villa in Italy where he hosts parties to friends. Clooney's rep denied the rumor, saying the couple lived in London while the actor filmed his upcoming movie, The Midnight Sky.

In November, New Idea also speculated that George and Amal were living separate lives due to the Gravity actor's heavy work schedule. His wife was, allegedly, against the idea of following him across the globe as it will only cause discomfort to their children.
