A graffiti featuring Prince Harry has popped up in a Los Angeles street. Coincidentally, the Duke of Sussex is now a resident of the city after he and wife, Meghan Markle, moved to LA from Vancouver, Canada, in late March.
The street artwork features Prince Harry wearing a blue hoodie, which has the words "Keep Calm and Wash Hands." According to Harper's Bazaar, the graffiti is a welcome of sorts for the Duke of Sussex and it's also a public service message in this global health crisis.
Prince Harry's coronavirus graffiti is the work of street artist Teachr 1. He posted on Instagram that he imagined the royal walking their family dogs while wearing a Megxit hoodie. The street art may be found on Beachwood Drive.
This is not the first time that Prince Harry's image popped up in a graffiti. In London, a Prince Harry street art also appeared in Shoreditch, which depicted the Duke of Sussex as the "Rebel Without a Crown" in the vein of James Dean. The artwork was done by artist named Pegasus.
Meanwhile, Prince Harry and Meghan originally had plans to fly back to London in May for their son's first birthday. Archie Harrison is turning a year old on May 6 and they were supposed to celebrate this with the royal family, per E! News.
However, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will now ditch this plan amid orders from the both American and British governments to observe social distancing and limit social gatherings as the coronavirus pandemic is still peaking. Similarly, the royal family also canceled many of their summer events, including the Trooping the Colour in June to celebrate the Queen's birthday.
Princess Beatrice's wedding reception at Buckingham Palace in May is not going to take place as well. Prince William and Kate Middleton are also holding Prince Louis' second birthday with just their family unit at their home in the country estate in Norfolk.
Thus, Archie will be celebrating his first birthday with just his parents in Los Angeles. Meghan's mother, Doria Ragland, might be visiting the family at their home since she lives nearby. But this has yet to be planned out well especially if there are still restrictions in place from the state of California.
A source told E! News, however, that Prince Harry and Meghan will still have a special gathering for Archie with friends and family later on. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will still mark Archie's milestone even if it's not going to be on his actual big day.
