Last year, Sony Interactive Entertainment President Jim Ryan announced that the PS5 would be released sometime in the holiday of 2020. However, unlike its rival Xbox Series X, Sony has not yet fully revealed the PS5 console. While fans are still waiting for the official announcement from the Japanese gaming giant, a new leak surfaced online, revealing a massive feature that Sony has in store for fans.

New PS5 Leak

The latest leak about the PS5 comes from PS5 Only under the user name ConsoleTime. The leaker shares the details of the huge but unannounced feature on the social networking site, Twitter. According to the tweet, Sony's next-generation gaming console will feature a new PlayStation Store interface.

The tipster adds that this new interface would enable players to test each game available on the store before purchasing them. Interestingly, the leak reveals that gamers could try these games on the PlayStation Store instantly without the need to download them. In other words, gamers will not have to wait for a long time before they could try the game that they want.

If this leak is accurate, it only means that all games available on the PlayStation Store would come with a free demo. This is a massive improvement for PS5 gamers, which was not available on the PlayStation 4. Aside from being a first-time offer, the new feature is a first to make a free demo available on the storefront without any waiting time necessary.

PS5 Console Reveal

Since the latest leak about the PS5 is still unconfirmed, it is safe to take the information with a grain of salt and with skepticism. In other PS5 news, a recent leak claimed that Sony is planning to hold a full reveal of the PS5 sometime in June. An earlier leak claimed that the much-awaited reveal might happen this month, but another leak noted that it might happen in the late part of May or in the early part of June 2020.

Other PS5 Details

Sony Interactive Entertainment has recently gone silent following its official reveal of the PS5 DualSense Controller. A former Sony engineer recently claimed that despite that the Japanese gaming giant already shared some of the features of the PS5, there are still lots of features and surprises that Sony has under its sleeves. Fans are looking forward to the official reveal of the PS5 as Microsoft is reportedly preparing another reveal this month or next month to introduce the more affordable Xbox Series S officially.
