There are several contradicting stories about how George Clooney and his wife, Amal, have been spending their quarantine at home because of the coronavirus pandemic. Oddly enough, the stories came from outlets that are both under the same company.

Firstly, the Globe. It claimed that the couple is heading to a $500 million divorce after living close quarters with each other for the past month. The tabloid claimed George and Amal are used to spending time apart because of their respective work. However, due to the lockdown in London, they were forced to spend the whole day at home for weeks now and the two, reportedly, can no longer stand each other.

"George is not taking well to being bossed around and Amal's finding it suffocating and tedious having to clean up after him," a source told Globe

The Star, on the other hand, is claiming the opposite. It claimed that the Gravity actor and his wife are having a blast while staying home with their twins. The tabloid added that quarantining together put the romance back in the couple's relationship.

"For George, it's been wonderful waking up with Amal and seeing the kids first thing every morning," the Star's source said.

Gossip Cop said that the conflicting claims between the Globe and the Star made their stories doubtful. The outlet noted that both tabloids are owned by the same publishing company, the American Media, Inc.

Gossip Cop stressed that it is either the Clooneys are heading for divorce or staying at home together has been helping their relationship. The site claimed that it can't be both. It added that even the less extreme story between the two tabloids couldn't be true as it suggests that the couple has been living apart before the lockdown.

Back in February, the actor's rep debunked the rumors that George and Amal have been living apart for the past months. Clooney's rep said it wasn't true as the couple had been staying together in London while George is filming his upcoming movie, The Midnight Sky, in the U.K.

Moreover, the latest news about George and Amal Clooney purchasing a £90k playhouse for their two-year-old twins Ella and Alexander is not an indication that the couple is having marital problems. The actor and the human rights lawyer reportedly enlisted playhouse specialist Barbara Butler to build the playhouse as they want the best for their children.

Their twins' playhouse is, reportedly, like a miniature of the family's main home. It has a fully functioning kitchen and bathroom, a zip-wire, and a life-sized toy giraffe for the twins.
