Fans and critics would definitely want to get their hands on “Finding Freedom: Harry and Meghan and the Making of a Modern Royal Family” to know more details about the couple. Publisher Harper Collins even shared that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s tell-all book will dispel “many rumors and misconceptions which have plagued the couple on both sides of the pond."
However, Queen Elizabeth’s former press secretary Dickie Arbiter shared that he had trouble ordering a copy of “Finding Freedom: Harry and Meghan and the Making of a Modern Royal Family.” He took to Twitter to ask other social media users if they have the same problems.
"I pre-ordered this on #Amazon last week and yesterday was told the order had been canceled by the publishers,” he wrote. "Anyone else had this problem?"
Some royal fans then began to share their same experience. They tweeted that they also received an email saying that their orders had been canceled. One purchaser of the book then posted an email that Amazon sent them regarding the cancelation of the order.
"The release of the item in the order below has been canceled by the publisher and we have canceled your pre-order,” it read. "You won't be charged for items that are canceled. We apologize for any inconvenience."
One of the authors of “Finding Freedom: Harry and Meghan and the Making of a Modern Royal Family” Omid Scobie replied to one of the Twitter users and explained why the order was canceled.
"I’ve just been told there was an error with the Kindle listing on Amazon UK. If you search for the book again and reorder it should be fine,” he wrote. Omid Scobie explained further later in the day, writing, "Apparently Amazon put the US Kindle listing on the UK site, so they had to correct it. All fixed now! (Also, thanks for supporting!)"
