One of the most awaited events among gamers is the Steam Summer Sale, which offers a wide range of titles at attractive prices. A new report revealed that the dates for the Steam Summer Sale 2020 had been recently leaked. Additionally, it disclosed several details about a new program that Valve is currently working on for loyal users.

Steam Summer Sale 2020

Over the years, the dates for the Steam Summer Sale have been leaked online. It is helpful, particularly for gamers who would like to save enough money to avail of the exciting offers for a myriad of titles. On Twitter, SteamDB developer Pavel Djundik shared the dates of the Steam Summer Sale 2020.

According to the developer, the Steam Summer Sale 2020 would run between Jun 25 and Jul 9, 2020. He also shared that the sale would go live on Steam's daily reset, which is at 18:00 BST or 10:00 PDT or 13:00 EDT. Users enjoyed last year's summer event at exactly the same time, underlining that Valve is maintaining its usual rhythm.

The summer saving plans of the video game digital distribution service usually leak at around this part of the year as Valve traditionally begins to inform developers on the system that a massive sale is about to take place. So far, we only have information about the dates and times, but details about what the deal would include are still scarce.

New Loyalty Rewards Program

Aside from the Steam Summer Sale, the SteamDB developer also shared exciting details about a new program that the video game digital distribution service is currently working on. This loyalty program would reportedly offer users rewards like Steam badges, digital items, and probably discounts on game purchases. Apparently, the program would allow a broader range of reactions to user reviews.
