BTS is loved by ARMYs not only because of their music but also because of their personalities. Despite their unstoppable success, RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook remained humble and grateful, making women all around the world want to be with them and men want to be them.

But because of their colorful music videos and playful outfits, BTS is often stereotyped as a group that is only meant for young girls. For those who are used to seeing Hollywood music videos and fashion, BTS may seem too cute for them. But the colorful concept had always been the norm in the K-pop world that even the rappers and rock stars wear bright-colored outfits.

Despite this stereotype, RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook proved that they have fans of all ages. In fact, an adorable photo of an elderly couple attending a BTS concert while holding an ARMY bomb previously went viral.

Also, women are not the only ones who are idolizing BTS. Some men are huge fans of the group as well. But what differentiates the male fans from the female fans is that most of them are embarrassed to be categorized as a “fanboy.”

Being a fanboy is hard as they wouldn’t know how an idol, especially a male idol, would react and interact with them. But one fanboy took the opportunity to ask Jungkook something that even some fangirls were too shy to ask.

In one of BTS's earlier fan meetings, a male fan told Jungkook that even though he’s a fanboy, he loves him very much. He then ended his note by asking the BTS star to go out on a date with him.

While some might just laugh it off and ignore the note to avoid any controversy, Jungkook responded to the fanboy. What made the whole thing even more adorable is the fact that the “Euphoria” singer acknowledged his bravery before agreeing to the fanboy’s request. “Courage… Haha. Alright!” he said.

This is definitely not the first time that Jungkook broke gender barriers. In one of their magazine interviews, the BTS star shared that a great style to him his “wearing anything you like, regardless of gender.”

BTS is known for supporting equality and they don’t just talk the talk, they walk the walk. Just like what Jungkook said about fashion, the boys have been spotted a lot of times wearing women’s fashion — from earrings to shoes. J-Hope even wore a skirt in one of the photoshoots.
