As a best man, Prince William followed the tradition of giving a speech to the newlyweds. During his brother, Prince Harry's wedding to Meghan Markle in 2018, he, reportedly, cracked a few "naughty" jokes.

While the details of the speech remain undisclosed, one of the attendees, reportedly, shared with The Times some of the highlights.

As per Mirror UK, the Duke of Cambridge made a lot of jokes about the Duke of Sussex's "hairline." While the latter's "infamous playboy" moments in the past were reportedly "off-limits," the future King of the United Kingdom went on to throw some surprising "filthy" jokes at his younger brother, especially when he talked about "wet knickers."

Aside from the traditional best man's speech, Prince William also "pulled a prank" on the newly wedded couple. This "nearly floored" the guests, the source added.

As explained, Prince Harry fell off a ladder a few weeks prior to the royal wedding. So, as a prank, the older Wales Prince, reportedly, "tied a ladder" to the couple's "newlywed car."

Although throwing jokes and pranks during speeches on weddings have become part of wedding traditions even outside the Royal Family, this was not the only reason why the Duke of Cambridge did it. As per Town & CountryPrince William noted it as a "revenge" for what Prince Harry did during his wedding to Kate Middleton in 2011.

Upon announcing that his older brother will be his best man, Kate's husband, reportedly, responded by stating that it is "great" and a "real delight." He then said, "revenge is sweet" at the end of his statement.

The publication continued to reveal what the Duke of Sussex did to his brother back in 2011. As shared by sources, Meghan Markle's husband repeatedly referred to his brother as "dude."

Also, Prince Harry was said to have made "on-point impressions" of how Prince William calls Kate Middleton "baby." While most of his jokes were centered on his brother and his wife, he also, reportedly, "poked fun" of their grandfather, Prince Philip.

In the case of their father, Prince Charles, though, his speeches in both weddings were said to have differed from what the royal siblings provided. As revealed, the Prince of Wales went to a "sentimental route" on his youngest son's special day. He even, reportedly, called him "my darling old, Harry."

On the other hand, the Heir Apparent's speech on Prince William's wedding was filled with lots of "teasing." He, reportedly, focused on his son's "bald spots" before the public.
